Privacy Policy — English
Effective date: 22 July 2026
Last updated: 5 September 2026
1. Identity and scope
Ioannis Najdecki is the data controller responsible for MyPreg and MyPregBaby. Both apps are developed and published by Ioannis Najdecki.
This Privacy Policy applies to mypregapp.com, the MyPreg and MyPregBaby apps, planned Android versions when they become available, and contact or support communications connected with either app.
This Policy distinguishes between information stored locally by the app, information you voluntarily submit through the website Contact form, and information processed independently by Apple, Google, hosting providers or other service providers.
MyPreg — pregnancy records and features
MyPreg allows you to enter and organize information such as your name, pregnancy dates, estimated due date, pregnancy week, weight and blood-pressure readings, daily check-ins, appointments, questions, medicines and supplements, reminders, notes, photographs, album entries, document titles and files, wishlist items, and other pregnancy-related information.
This information may include personal and health-related information.
You decide what information to enter. Avoid storing information that you do not need for your use of MyPreg, particularly information about another person unless you are entitled to do so.
MyPregBaby — child records, media and permissions
MyPregBaby lets a parent or caregiver organise child-related records such as a child’s name and birth details, feeding, diapers, baths, sleep, growth, appointments, questions, reminders, vaccination records, symptoms and illnesses, medication routines and administration records, documents, Child Card details, Timeline entries, wishlists, photographs and private memories.
These records and selected media are stored locally on your device by default. MyPregBaby does not require a MyPregBaby account or provide a developer-operated cloud account. The publisher does not receive or remotely access these child records or media through normal app use.
On iPhone, you can choose to create a private iCloud share for one child and invite another parent or caregiver. When you do, that child’s records, photos and documents are copied to Apple’s iCloud and made available to invited participants through CloudKit. Apple processes this information under its own terms and privacy policy. You can manage participants or stop the share from within MyPregBaby.
MyPregBaby does not include behavioural analytics, advertising or advertising tracking SDKs. It is designed without ads.
MyPregBaby may request explicit permission to use selected photos, the camera, or files only when you choose a feature that needs that access. Selected images and documents remain in local app storage unless you initiate an export or share action.
Optional reminders and medication-routine notifications are scheduled locally on your device after you grant notification permission. They are not remote marketing notifications, and you can disable them in device settings.
The optional MyPregBaby Today widget can show the active child’s name and a relevant current care item on the iPhone Home Screen. Widget information is stored locally for the system widget and may be visible to anyone who can view your device screen. Active timers and widget details are not included in an iCloud child share.
MyPregBaby can create a local backup/export and restore/import a compatible backup. A backup can contain sensitive child records, documents and media. You are responsible for choosing a trusted storage destination, protecting the backup, and securely deleting copies you no longer need. Any destination service you choose processes the file under its own privacy terms.
Apple or Google may independently process download, purchase, payment, transaction, device and diagnostic information under their own terms. MyPregBaby does not directly receive your full payment-card details.
MyPregBaby is a parent-organisation tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, emergency monitoring or medical advice.
3. Local On-Device Storage
The current MyPreg app is designed as a local-first application. Information entered into the app is stored on your device.
MyPreg does not currently provide MyPreg user accounts, cloud synchronization, or a developer-operated backend for storing your pregnancy information.
Ioannis Najdecki does not receive or remotely access the pregnancy information you enter into the app through normal use. This local app information is separate from information that you choose to submit through the website Contact form or share with another service.
You are responsible for protecting access to your device using the security features provided by your operating system.
The current app does not include behavioural analytics, advertising SDKs or tracking technology. It is designed without advertising.
4. Apple Health
MyPreg can optionally connect with Apple Health to read and write body-mass information.
Apple Health access is optional and requires your explicit permission. MyPreg requests access only when you choose to use the relevant feature.
Health information accessed through Apple Health is used to display or update weight information within MyPreg. It is not used for advertising, sold, shared with data brokers, or transmitted to Ioannis Najdecki through normal app use.
You can manage or revoke Apple Health permissions through the Health app or iOS Settings.
Deleting or resetting MyPreg does not necessarily delete information already written to Apple Health. Apple Health information must be managed separately through Apple’s Health app.
5. Photos, Camera, and Documents
MyPreg may request access to your camera, selected photos, and files or documents.
This access is used only when you choose to add a photograph, image, scan, or document.
Files and images selected for MyPreg remain on your device within the app’s local storage unless you choose to share or export them.
MyPreg does not automatically upload these files to the publisher.
6. Notifications
MyPreg may request permission to schedule local notifications, such as reminders for appointments, medicines, or other pregnancy-related activities.
These notifications are scheduled on your device. MyPreg does not use a remote notification service to send marketing messages.
You can disable notifications through iOS Settings.
7. Calendar Access
MyPreg may request calendar access when you choose to add or interact with appointment-related calendar features.
Calendar information is used only to perform the action you request and is not transmitted to the publisher.
9. Website and technical data
When you visit mypregapp.com, hosting, network or security providers may automatically process ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, requested page, date and time of the request, referrer information, and basic server or security logs.
This information may be used to deliver the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems and support operational reliability.
MyPreg does not currently install behavioural analytics or advertising tracking on the website. Exact technical-log retention may depend on the relevant hosting or infrastructure provider and is not necessarily the same as the contact-enquiry retention period below.
10. Contact form and communications
When you use the Contact form, you voluntarily submit information that may include your name, email address, selected topic, message content and confirmation that you have read this Privacy Policy.
The Contact form is processed using Web3Forms as a service provider. The submitted information is transmitted to and processed by Web3Forms and then delivered to Ioannis Najdecki so that the enquiry can be reviewed and answered.
Web3Forms, network and email infrastructure may also process technical information associated with a submission, such as an IP address, browser or request information, timestamps, anti-spam signals and delivery or security logs.
Do not submit unnecessary sensitive medical information, full medical records, passwords, Apple Account or Google Account credentials, or payment-card details through the Contact form.
11. App stores and purchases
The MyPreg and MyPregBaby iPhone apps are publicly available through Apple’s App Store. Android versions may follow.
Apple may independently process store-account information, purchase and payment information, download and transaction data, and device or diagnostic information under Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. If the Android version becomes available, Google may independently process equivalent information under its own terms and privacy policies.
MyPreg and MyPregBaby do not directly receive your full payment-card details. Purchase-related information made available to the apps is determined by Apple, Google and the store services used to provide purchases.
12. Purposes and legal bases
Where Polish or European Union data-protection law applies, personal information is processed only where there is an appropriate legal basis.
Depending on the context, this may include your consent where it is specifically requested; taking steps at your request or providing requested support; legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the website and responding to enquiries; and compliance with legal obligations.
Where processing relies on legitimate interests, those interests are considered alongside your rights and reasonable expectations. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
13. Retention and deletion
Information stored locally in the app remains on your device until you delete individual entries, use MyPreg’s Reset Data function, uninstall the app, or the operating system removes the app’s data.
Reset Data removes MyPreg’s locally stored application information and cancels MyPreg notifications. It does not necessarily remove information already written to Apple Health, information previously exported or shared, copies stored by another app or service, or information previously added to an external calendar. Those items must be managed through the relevant service or destination application.
Contact enquiries are normally retained for up to 90 days after the enquiry has been resolved.
Information may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary for an unresolved matter, compliance with legal obligations, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or security, abuse or fraud investigations.
Technical and security logs may follow different retention periods set by the relevant hosting, infrastructure or service provider.
14. International processing
Service providers used for website hosting, communications, security, app distribution or Contact-form processing may process information outside Poland or the European Economic Area.
Where data-protection law requires it, processing outside the European Economic Area should be supported by an appropriate legal basis and safeguards. The specific safeguards may depend on the provider and service in use.
When you choose to share or export app information, the selected destination may also process it in another country under its own privacy policy.
15. Your data-protection rights
Where applicable, you may have rights to request access to personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, and data portability. You may also withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
These rights may be subject to legal conditions and exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection supervisory authority.
To submit a privacy request or contact us about personal-data processing, use the secure Contact form.
16. Security
MyPreg and MyPregBaby use the security protections supplied by the operating system and your device for locally stored app information. Website and communication providers apply their own technical and organisational security measures.
No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect your device using the available passcode or biometric security features and avoid sharing sensitive information through destinations you do not trust.
17. Medical information and children
MyPreg provides organisational tools and general pregnancy information. It does not provide a diagnosis, treatment or emergency assistance and does not replace a doctor, midwife or other qualified healthcare professional.
Always seek professional medical advice about symptoms, treatment, medicines, supplements or concerns. Contact local emergency services or your maternity-care provider when urgent care may be required.
MyPreg is intended for adult users managing or supporting a pregnancy. If you are not legally able to agree to this Privacy Policy under the laws applicable to you, use MyPreg only with appropriate involvement and consent from a parent or legal guardian.
18. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when either app’s functionality, service providers, legal requirements or data practices change.
The updated policy will display a revised effective or last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or app where appropriate.
19. Contact
MyPreg and MyPregBaby are developed and published by Ioannis Najdecki. Ioannis Najdecki is the data controller responsible for both apps and this website.
